**How much does truck towing cost in Austria?**
There is no fixed tariff in Austria — the price depends on the distance, weight and vehicle type. Typical market rates: base fee/call-out from around €150 (daytime), higher at night and on weekends, plus around €3.80/km. You receive a binding fixed price before we set out. All prices are net, plus 20% VAT.

**How much does recovery with a crane or rotator cost?**
Recovery and crane work from around €130/hr during the day, and around €185/hr at night and on public holidays. Heavy articulated-lorry recovery with a rotator crane is calculated individually based on the effort involved — including alpine and slope recovery.

**How quickly is a recovery team on site?**

Yes. Surcharges apply to labour and personnel in the evenings, at night, on Saturdays and especially on Sundays and public holidays (e.g. +€25/hr Mon–Fri evenings/nights and Sat, +€35/hr on Sundays and public holidays).

**How much does the standing time or storage of the vehicle cost?**
By each calendar day started: from around €30/day (higher for trucks and articulated lorries), net.

**Is the ASFINAG toll charged separately?**
Yes. The statutory toll (ASFINAG / GO-Maut for vehicles over 3.5 t) is charged additionally against receipt.

**Does insurance cover the costs?**
